• A caregiver in this position works days from 6:45AM - 4:45PM. No weekends are required.
• A caregiver who excels in this role will: + Administer therapeutic massage and bodywork modalities, including deep tissue, Swedish, trigger point, stretching, pregnancy/post-partum massage, acupressure, reflexology and hydrotherapy.

+ Interview patient to determine medical history, condition, desired results and appropriate modality. + Apply selected modality, focusing on areas of discomfort. + Monitor patient's responses to treatment and adjust, change or terminate treatment based on feedback. + Document patient information, interview responses, treatments, feedback and results. + Maintain therapy area in a clean, safe, sterile and organizational state. + Order supplies, as necessary. Minimum qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include: + High school graduate or equivalent + Graduate of an accredited Massage Therapy program + Licensed in Massage Therapy (LMT) by the State of Ohio + One year of experience providing massage services or an equivalent combination of relevant education and/or experience + Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) or the American Red Cross + For Hospice staff only: Valid Ohio Driver's License upon hire; per policy 8-175 thereafter + For Hospice staff only: Proof of automobile insurance coverage with $100,000/$300,000 upon hire; per policy 8-175 thereafter Preferred qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include: + Experience working in the health care field

• Physical Requirements:

• + Requires full body motion to move and lift patients and equipment, lifting of items in excess of 30 pounds. + Requires standing and walking for extended times. + Ability to assist with positioning and transporting patients; e.g., carts and wheelchairs. + Requires the ability to maneuver equipment and motor coordination to operate equipment.
