This role requires expertise in various massage techniques, including deep tissue massage and trigger point therapy, to provide exceptional care in a med spa environment. The Massage Therapist will play a vital role in enhancing patient well-being through therapeutic treatments tailored to individual needs. Responsibilities Conduct thorough patient assessments to determine appropriate treatment plans. Utilize knowledge of medical terminology to communicate effectively with patients and healthcare professionals. Administer various massage techniques, including deep tissue massage and trigger point therapy, to alleviate pain and promote relaxation. Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to health and safety regulations. Provide excellent customer service by ensuring patients feel comfortable and informed throughout their treatment. Document patient progress and treatment outcomes accurately in accordance with clinic policies. Collaborate with other healthcare providers to enhance patient care and outcomes. Qualifications Valid state licensure as a Massage Therapist is required. Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology is essential. Experience in pain management techniques is preferred but not mandatory. Excellent patient assessment skills to tailor treatments effectively. Previous experience in a med spa or similar setting is an advantage. Exceptional customer service skills with a focus on patient satisfaction. Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings or weekends as needed.
