Duties Perform professional massage therapy sessions utilizing techniques such as deep tissue massage and trigger point therapy to address specific client needs. Conduct thorough patient assessments to understand individual health concerns, preferences, and treatment goals. Educate clients on the benefits of various massage techniques and recommend appropriate therapies for pain management and stress relief. Maintain detailed and accurate records of each session, including patient information, treatment plans, and progress notes. Ensure a clean, safe, and welcoming environment by adhering to all sanitation and safety protocols in compliance with licensing standards. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals or medical staff to coordinate care when necessary. Stay current with industry trends, new techniques, and continuing education requirements to enhance service quality. Experience Valid state licensure as a Massage Therapist with active certification and compliance with local regulations. Proven experience providing a variety of massage therapies such as deep tissue massage and trigger point therapy. Strong knowledge of human physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology relevant to massage therapy. Prior experience working in a med spa or occupational health setting is highly desirable. Excellent patient service skills with the ability to assess patient needs accurately and communicate effectively. Familiarity with pain management techniques and understanding of how massage can support overall health outcomes.
