Duties Perform professional massage therapy sessions utilizing techniques such as deep tissue massage and trigger point therapy to target specific areas of pain or tension Conduct thorough patient assessments to understand individual health histories, concerns, and treatment goals Educate clients on self-care practices, occupational health strategies, and post-treatment routines to optimize results Maintain detailed records of treatments provided, patient responses, and progress notes in compliance with medical terminology standards Ensure a welcoming environment by delivering exceptional patient service and addressing client questions or concerns with professionalism Stay current with industry trends and expand expertise in areas like medical spa treatments and advanced anatomy knowledge Experience Valid licensure as a Massage Therapist from an accredited licensing board or authority Proven experience in patient service, patient assessment, and delivering various massage techniques including deep tissue and trigger point therapy Familiarity with physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology relevant to therapeutic massage practices Prior work in occupational health settings or med spa environments is highly desirable Strong customer service skills with the ability to connect with diverse clients and foster a positive experience Knowledge of pain management strategies and holistic approaches to health improvement Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail and professionalism
Pay:
$32.00 - $56.00 per hour
