Job Description

Overview We are seeking a Director of Education who holds a Pennsylvania massage therapy license and has teaching experience to join our dynamic wellness team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to deliver exceptional therapeutic massage services while sharing your expertise through educational initiatives. You will play a vital part in enhancing clients' well-being, managing pain, and promoting relaxation, all within a vibrant and supportive environment. Your energy, professionalism, and dedication will help elevate our clients' experience and foster a culture of health and learning. Duties Provide professional massage therapy sessions utilizing techniques such as deep tissue massage, trigger point therapy, and other modalities to address client needs. Conduct thorough patient assessments to determine appropriate treatment plans tailored to individual conditions and goals. Educate clients on self-care practices, injury prevention, and occupational health strategies to support long-term wellness. Maintain detailed documentation of treatments, patient progress, and treatment outcomes in compliance with regulatory standards. Collaborate with team members to develop customized treatment programs that incorporate physiology knowledge and medical terminology. Assist in training and mentoring new therapists or students, sharing your teaching expertise to foster growth within the team. Uphold the highest standards of patient service, ensuring a welcoming environment that emphasizes customer service excellence at every touchpoint. Skills Proven experience in patient service, assessment, and delivering effective massage therapy treatments. Expertise in deep tissue massage, trigger point therapy, and pain management techniques. Strong understanding of human physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology relevant to massage therapy. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to connect with diverse clients and address their concerns professionally. Knowledge of occupational health principles to support workplace wellness initiatives. Prior med spa experience is highly desirable for understanding advanced treatment protocols. Ability to teach or mentor others effectively, demonstrating clear communication and leadership qualities. $25.00 - $40.00 per hour
