Licensed Massage Therapist (LMT)

Job Overview We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Massage Therapist to join our team. As a Massage Therapist, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the well-being of our clients through therapeutic treatments tailored to their individual needs. Duties Perform a variety of massage techniques, including deep tissue massage, trigger point therapy, and pain management strategies. Conduct thorough patient assessments to determine appropriate treatment plans based on individual needs and preferences. Utilize knowledge of anatomy and physiology to effectively address client concerns and enhance overall health. Maintain accurate records of client treatments, progress, and any relevant medical terminology. Provide excellent customer service by ensuring clients feel comfortable and informed throughout their sessions. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals in a med spa environment to deliver comprehensive care. Educate clients on self-care practices and the benefits of regular massage therapy. Requirements Valid state licensure or certification as a Massage Therapist. Proficiency in deep tissue massage techniques and trigger point therapy. Strong customer service skills with the ability to build rapport with clients. Knowledge of patient assessment methods and medical terminology. Understanding of anatomy and physiology related to massage therapy practices. Experience in pain management techniques is preferred but not required.
