Job Overview We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Massage Therapist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of various massage techniques and a commitment to providing exceptional patient care. This role involves working with clients to assess their needs and develop personalized treatment plans that promote relaxation, pain relief, and overall wellness. This position can be hourly or commission based, depending on your availability and desired hours. Responsibilities Conduct thorough assessments of clients' physical conditions and needs. Perform various types of massage including deep tissue, hot stones, and pain management techniques. Utilize knowledge of anatomy and physiology to provide effective treatments. Maintain accurate records of client sessions, including treatment plans and progress notes. Educate clients on the benefits of massage therapy and recommend follow-up treatments as necessary. Ensure a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for clients. Provide excellent customer service by addressing client inquiries and concerns promptly. Maintaining cleanliness and proper storage of massage supplies such as linens, stones, and massage mediums. Experience Certification in massage therapy from an accredited program is required. Experience in occupational health or a medical spa setting is preferred. Familiarity with medical terminology related to massage therapy is beneficial. Strong knowledge of physiology and anatomy to effectively address client needs. Proven ability in customer service with a focus on patient satisfaction.
