Contracted Licensed Massage Therapist

Overview Looking for contracted LMT's who want the flexibility of accepting hours that work for them. Will be different week to week. Paid as a 1099. In this role, you will deliver professional massage services tailored to individual needs, utilizing your expertise to alleviate pain and enhance overall well-being. We cater to athletes and veterans, but also encourage our therapists to bring in their own clientele. This position offers an exciting opportunity to grow within the wellness industry and flexibility in availability. Daytime hours, nighttime hours and weekend hours available. Responsibilities Perform a variety of massage techniques including deep tissue massage and trigger point therapy to address specific patient concerns Conduct thorough patient assessments to determine appropriate treatment plans and customize sessions accordingly Apply knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology to ensure safe and effective treatments Educate patients on self-care practices, occupational health tips, and pain management strategies Maintain detailed documentation of treatments, patient progress, and treatment outcomes in compliance with healthcare standards Provide outstanding customer service by creating a welcoming environment and addressing patient questions or concerns Stay current with industry best practices and participate in ongoing professional development to enhance skills Qualifications Valid state licensure as a Massage Therapist with current certification in good standing Proven experience in patient service, with a focus on patient assessment and personalized care plans Expertise in deep tissue massage and pain management techniques Strong understanding of physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology relevant to massage therapy Prior experience working in a med spa or similar healthcare setting is preferred Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively and empathetically
