Part Time Massage Therapist

Overview We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Massage Therapist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in various massage techniques and a commitment to providing exceptional patient care. In this role, you will assess patients' needs, develop personalized treatment plans, and deliver high-quality massage therapy services in a professional environment. Responsibilities Conduct thorough patient assessments to determine individual needs and treatment goals. Provide various massage techniques including deep tissue massage, trigger point therapy, and pain management strategies. Maintain accurate records of patient treatments and progress while adhering to medical terminology standards. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals in an occupational health or med spa setting to ensure comprehensive patient care. Educate clients on the benefits of massage therapy and provide recommendations for ongoing care. Uphold a clean and safe work environment, ensuring compliance with health regulations and safety protocols. Deliver outstanding customer service by building rapport with clients and addressing their concerns effectively. Requirements Valid state licensure or certification as a Massage Therapist. Strong knowledge of physiology and anatomy related to massage therapy practices. Experience in customer service with excellent communication skills. Familiarity with medical terminology relevant to patient assessments and treatment documentation is preferred. Ability to work collaboratively within a team while also being self-motivated. Previous experience in med spa or occupational health settings is a plus but not required. A commitment to ongoing professional development and staying current with industry trends and techniques.
