License Massage Therapist

In this role, Licensed Massage Therapist (LMT) will provide professional assessments & therapeutic services to patient with medical conditions that can improve with therapeutic Massage therapy. Working as part of an experienced medical team, LMT will strive to ensure each client has a positive service interface & therapeutic outcome on-site at the practice location. LMT will strive to maximize client rehabilitative goals by serving each client in accordance with company policy & procedures & in compliance with all certification, confidentiality, legal, regulatory & safety requirements.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Administrative Assist all clients with scheduling & service questions; Request additional help when needed to maximize client satisfaction; Maintain client confidentiality according to HIPAA & company standards; Answer calls with appropriate greeting; Clinical Evaluate suitability of individual clients for therapeutic services in accordance with company policy & best practices; Performs massage therapy for the patients under the supervision of the attending physician; Consult with clients about symptoms, medical history & desired results; Evaluate clients to locate painful or tense areas of the body; Administer therapeutic technique based on each client's needs & physical condition; Manipulate muscles or other soft tissues of the body; Provide clients with education & guidance on stretching, strengthening, posture alignment, & overall relaxation; Document client's condition & progress; Communicate with all healthcare professionals when permissible & according to state law; Perform all payment transactions (cash, check and electronic), in accordance with company policy & procedures; Maintain scheduling prioritization throughout business hours; Ensure safety & functional use of therapeutic furniture & equipment; Comply with all accreditation, confidentiality, legal, regulatory, & safety laws/guidelines; Participate in all required practice operational meetings; Maintain a clean, organized & professional therapeutic environment;

QUALIFICATIONS

Required Ability to interface with diverse client base in a friendly & confident manner; Excellent communication skills (oral, written, grammar, listening); Proficient in PC Windows + Mobile OS; Core math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division); Current LMT certifications; Verifiable HS diploma or GED; Active liability insurance; Capable of performing/learning deep tissue, Swedish and maternity massage modalities Be a team player Believe in regular massage therapy as part of a healthy lifestyle Pass background check ‪ Preferred Electronic payment facilitation | Web + Mobile Private practice experience Private client experience Associates/Bachelors degree (science/psychology preferred)
