Job Summary We are seeking a passionate and skilled Licensed Massage Therapist to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will deliver high-quality massage services designed to promote relaxation, pain relief, and overall well-being. Your expertise will help clients achieve their health and wellness goals while ensuring an exceptional spa experience. Responsibilities Perform professional massage therapy sessions utilizing techniques such as deep tissue massage and trigger point therapy to address client needs. Conduct patient assessments to determine appropriate treatment plans based on individual health conditions and goals. Apply specialized techniques for pain management, including deep tissue work and trigger point therapy. Maintain detailed records of client treatments, progress, and physiological responses. Educate clients on post-treatment care and recommend future sessions or therapies as needed. Ensure a safe, clean, and welcoming environment by adhering to all health and safety regulations. Collaborate with team members to enhance client satisfaction and promote the spa's wellness services. Qualifications Valid state licensure as a Massage Therapist with current certification. Proven experience in patient service, customer care, and therapeutic massage techniques. Strong knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology relevant to massage therapy. Skilled in patient assessment, pain management strategies, and occupational health practices. Experience with deep tissue massage, trigger point therapy, and med spa treatments is highly desirable. Excellent communication skills with a focus on customer service excellence. Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends as needed.
