Duties Perform a variety of massage techniques including deep tissue massage and trigger point therapy to alleviate muscle tension and pain Conduct thorough patient assessments to understand individual health histories and specific concerns Develop customized treatment plans based on physiology knowledge, anatomy, and medical terminology Educate clients on self-care practices, occupational health, and injury prevention strategies Maintain detailed records of treatments, patient progress, and treatment outcomes in compliance with privacy standards Ensure a safe, comfortable environment for clients by adhering to sanitation and safety protocols Collaborate with clients to set realistic goals for pain management and overall wellness improvement Qualifications Proven experience in patient service with a strong focus on customer satisfaction Knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology relevant to massage therapy Skilled in deep tissue massage, trigger point therapy, and pain management techniques Prior experience working in med spas or similar healthcare settings is preferred Ability to perform comprehensive patient assessments and tailor treatments accordingly Excellent communication skills to educate clients effectively and foster trust Certification as a licensed massage therapist or equivalent credential required in your region This role offers an exciting opportunity for motivated professionals eager to make a positive impact on clients' health and well-being.
