Job Description
Overview We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Massage Therapist to join our wellness team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of various massage techniques and therapies, including trigger point therapy and deep tissue massage. This role is essential in providing therapeutic services to our clients, enhancing their overall well-being, and assisting in pain management. The Massage Therapist will work closely with clients to assess their needs and develop personalized treatment plans that promote relaxation and recovery. Responsibilities Conduct thorough patient assessments to determine individual needs and preferences. Provide high-quality massage therapy services, including deep tissue massage, trigger point therapy, and other modalities as required. Utilize medical terminology effectively when discussing treatment plans with clients and other healthcare professionals. Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for clients. Document treatment sessions accurately, noting any changes in client conditions or responses to therapy. Collaborate with other health professionals within the med spa setting to ensure comprehensive care. Educate clients on self-care techniques and pain management strategies to enhance their treatment outcomes. Uphold exceptional customer service standards by ensuring a positive experience for all clients. Experience Proven experience as a Massage Therapist in a clinical or spa setting is preferred. Strong knowledge of physiology and human anatomy relevant to massage therapy practices. Familiarity with patient service protocols and occupational health standards. Excellent communication skills with the ability to build rapport with clients quickly. Experience in pain management techniques is a plus but not mandatory.
