Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Perform various massage techniques, including deep tissue massage, to address clients' specific needs and preferences
- Create a comfortable and relaxing environment for clients during their massage sessions
- Assess clients' health conditions and concerns to determine the most appropriate massage techniques and areas to focus on
- Provide excellent patient service by actively listening to clients' feedback and adjusting the massage accordingly
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, such as chiropractors or physical therapists, to develop comprehensive treatment plans for clients
- Stay informed about current trends and advancements in the field of massage therapy
Requirements:
- Valid certification or license as a Massage Therapist
- Proficiency in various massage techniques, particularly deep tissue massage
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with clients and understand their needs
- Knowledge of occupational health practices and the ability to adapt massage techniques accordingly
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism when dealing with sensitive client information
- Physical stamina and dexterity to perform massages for extended periods of time
- Willingness to continuously learn and improve skills through ongoing education and training opportunities
