Licensed Massage Therapist (LMT)

Expert Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled and licensed massage therapist to join our wellness team on a 1099 independent contractor basis. A minimum of 1 year of experience required. As a massage therapist, you will provide professional therapeutic massage services to clients, addressing their unique needs and promoting overall wellness.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver customized massage therapy sessions, including Swedish, deep tissue, sports, and other modalities as needed.
• Assess and discuss client concerns and conditions prior to treatment.
• Ensure client comfort and safety throughout each session.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and professional work environment.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships through exceptional service and communication.
• Comply with all health and safety regulations, including proper sanitation of equipment and work areas.
• Maintain your own liability insurance, supplies, and necessary materials.

Qualifications:

• Must possess a valid massage therapy license in [Tennessee]. In good standing.
• Experience requires a minimum of 1 year of experience in therapeutic massage techniques (Swedish, deep tissue, sports, etc.).
• Strong interpersonal skills with a passion for client care and well-being.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings.
• Liability insurance is required.

Must carry a million dollar insurance policy through AMTA or like service and proof must be presented at the time of hire.

Independent Contractor Status:

• This is a 1099 contract position, and the therapist will be responsible for their own taxes.
• Compensation is based on a per-session rate, with the potential for tips.
• As an independent contractor, you are responsible for providing a way to get to and from facilities.

Compensation:
