Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a Tennessee Licensed Massage Therapist to join our professional team in providing exceptional therapeutic services to our clients. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology, with a focus on delivering tailored massage treatments that promote pain relief, relaxation, and overall wellness. This role offers an opportunity to work in a supportive environment that values patient care and professional growth. Must be able to work weekends. We offer flexible hours. Duties Perform various massage techniques including deep tissue massage and trigger point therapy to address specific client needs Conduct patient assessments to determine appropriate treatment plans and document client progress Apply knowledge of physiology and anatomy to deliver safe and effective massage therapy sessions Educate clients on post-treatment care and recommend ongoing therapy or wellness strategies Maintain a clean, organized treatment area in compliance with health and safety standards Ensure excellent patient service by creating a welcoming, professional environment Collaborate with other healthcare professionals as needed to support comprehensive patient care Stay current with industry best practices and participate in ongoing professional development Skills Proven experience in patient service and customer care within a medical or spa setting Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology relevant to massage therapy Expertise in deep tissue massage, trigger point therapy, and pain management techniques Ability to assess patient needs accurately and develop customized treatment plans Excellent communication skills for effective patient education and team collaboration Knowledge of occupational health standards and best practices for safe treatment delivery Prior med spa experience is highly desirable for this role Compassionate demeanor with a commitment to improving client well-being through therapeutic massage This position is integral to our mission of providing high-quality wellness services.
