The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of anatomy and medical terminology, along with the ability to assess patient needs effectively. This role requires a commitment to providing exceptional customer service while delivering various massage techniques, including deep tissue massage and trigger point therapy, in a serene and professional environment. Duties Conduct thorough patient assessments to determine individual needs and preferences. Utilize knowledge of anatomy and medical terminology to provide safe and effective treatments. Administer various types of massages, including deep tissue massage and trigger point therapy, tailored to each client's requirements. Implement pain management techniques to help clients alleviate discomfort and promote relaxation. Maintain a clean and organized treatment area in accordance with health and safety standards. Provide excellent customer service by ensuring clients feel comfortable and valued throughout their experience. Collaborate with other health professionals in an occupational health setting when necessary. Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in massage therapy practices. Requirements Valid state licensure or certification as a Massage Therapist. Strong knowledge of patient assessment techniques and anatomy. Familiarity with medical terminology relevant to massage therapy. Experience or interest in occupational health practices is a plus. Proficient in pain management strategies and techniques. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to build rapport with clients. Previous experience in a med spa environment is preferred but not mandatory.
