Overview We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Massage Therapist to join our wellness team. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of various massage techniques and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service. As a Massage Therapist, you will play a vital role in enhancing the well-being of our clients through therapeutic touch and personalized treatment plans. Responsibilities Perform a variety of massage techniques, including deep tissue massage, trigger point therapy, and pain management strategies tailored to individual client needs. Conduct thorough patient assessments to determine appropriate treatment plans based on client health history and specific concerns. Utilize knowledge of anatomy and physiology to effectively address musculoskeletal issues and promote relaxation. Maintain accurate records of client sessions, including treatment details and progress notes using medical terminology. Provide excellent customer service by creating a welcoming environment for clients and ensuring their comfort during sessions. Educate clients on self-care techniques, stretching exercises, and wellness practices to enhance their overall health. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals as needed to support comprehensive patient care in occupational health settings. Requirements Valid state license in massage therapy. Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology related to massage therapy practices. Experience in pain management techniques and occupational health is preferred but not mandatory. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients about their needs and treatment options. Ability to perform physical tasks associated with massage therapy while maintaining professionalism and empathy towards clients.
