Job Description
Position Summary:
PEAKiropractic is looking for a hybind, in-house and mobile Licensed Massage Therapist to help our fellow DFW residents live an exceptional life. Duties include evaluating, developing treatment plans, treating patients, and maintaining appropriate medical records in a mobile setting. As a provider, the LMT is responsible for patient education, recommending the appropriate treatment, and patient retention. Although massage therapy is sometimes used as a standalone treatment for our patients, it is usually used in conjunction with chiropractic care. Utilizing other services or products we offer to improve patient care is recommended. - Help acquire new patients through referrals, reviews, testimonials and other marketing efforts.
- Meet Monthly KPI's
- Be a contributing member of the team, in revenue, culture and brand image.
- Adhere to the company's policies and procedures.
- Educate patients on the importance of massage therapy.
- Increase the patient load through patient retention.
- Deliver effective treatment that aligns with patients' health goals. Competencies
- Problem solving
- Evaluate patients' complaints and develop treatment plans that will deliver the appropriate treatment and get fast results.
- Punctuality
- Maintain the necessary medical records and be consistent with treatment results.
- Develop rapport with patients, listen to their concerns, and be personable.
- Be licensed in Texas and in good standing.
- Hold own malpractice/liability insurance.
- Have a reliable vehicle to be used for the services.
- Have an active driver's license.
- Be able to receive payment and reschedule patients on electronic health records system. Education and Experience
- Licensed Massage Therapist in Texas
- Experience with different techniques: Swedish, Deep Tissue, Prenatal, lymphatic is a plus.
- 1+ year of experience is preferred but new graduates are welcome to apply. Physical Requirements
- This job requires driving between patient appointments.
- Be able to lift 50lbs and go up and down stairs with it.
- Be comfortable treating people larger than yourself.
