In this role, you will deliver exceptional massage therapy services designed to promote relaxation, alleviate pain, and enhance overall well-being and work in conjunction with chiropractic care. Your expertise will help clients experience relief from discomfort, improve mobility, and achieve their health goals through personalized treatment plans. Responsibilities Perform professional massage therapy sessions utilizing techniques such as deep tissue massage and trigger point therapy to target specific areas of discomfort. Conduct thorough patient assessments to understand individual needs, health history, and treatment goals. Educate clients on self-care practices and recommend appropriate therapies for pain management and occupational health concerns. Maintain detailed records of each session, including treatment notes and progress reports, ensuring compliance with medical terminology standards. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals or medical staff to develop comprehensive treatment plans when necessary. Uphold the highest standards of patient service by creating a welcoming atmosphere and ensuring client comfort throughout each session. Stay current with industry best practices, new techniques, and relevant physiology knowledge to continually enhance your skills and service quality. Qualifications Valid state licensure as a Massage Therapist with active certification. Proven experience in patient service, patient assessment, and delivering effective massage therapies such as deep tissue massage and trigger point therapy. Strong understanding of physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology relevant to massage therapy. Knowledge of pain management strategies and occupational health principles. Previous experience working in a med spa or similar wellness environment is highly desirable. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to build trust and rapport with diverse clients.
