- Part-time, Full-time, Contract Job Overview We are seeking skilled Medical and Therapeutic Massage Therapists to support a growing practice.
Credentialed therapists are preferred; however, we are open to working with qualified therapists on a temporary contract or call-in basis while credentialing is completed. Availability includes early mornings and evening at a safe, professional public facility. Hours may vary and can be combined to meet coverage needs. This role offers room for growth, increased hours, and a significant pay increase once credentialing documentation is provided, with the opportunity to transition into consistent or full-time work. Ideal candidates are reliable, professional, and passionate about therapeutic care. Responsibilities Perform comprehensive client assessments to identify medical, therapeutic, and functional needs Develop and implement individualized massage therapy treatment plans aligned with client goals and clinical indications Administer therapeutic techniques including deep tissue, trigger point therapy, myofascial release, and relaxation-based modalities Monitor client responses during and after sessions, adjusting techniques to ensure safety, comfort, and effectiveness Educate clients on pain management strategies, injury prevention, and post-treatment care Maintain accurate and timely documentation of treatments, progress, and client responses Collaborate professionally with other healthcare or wellness providers when appropriate and within scope of practice Adhere to medical safety standards, hygiene protocols, and confidentiality requirements Stay current with best practices, continuing education, and advancements in medical and therapeutic massage Requirements Active state licensure as a Massage Therapist in good standing Experience in medical and/or therapeutic massage (clinical, rehabilitative, or wellness settings preferred) Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and therapeutic massage applications Proficiency in advanced techniques such as deep tissue and trigger point therapy Ability to conduct thorough assessments and develop effective, client-centered treatment plans Understanding of injury prevention, recovery, and functional health principles Excellent professionalism, communication, and client care skills Commitment to ethical practice, client comfort, and confidentiality Position Details Independent Contractor (1099) Temporary / Call-In to Start No guaranteed hours during temporary phase Increased pay upon submission of credentialing documentation Opportunity for expanded hours and long-term growth How to Apply Email info@thuladoulamassage.com or fill our this pre-screening https://forms.gle/jWirHbJuqLkxUoHU9 with your contact information and any relevant licenses, certificates, or credentialing documentation.
