Our Licensed Massage Therapists play a vital role in supporting physical therapists and physical therapy assistants, ensuring patients have a positive rehabilitation experience. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of patient care, anatomy, and medical terminology, particularly in orthopedics and outpatient settings. Our clinic hours are Monday through Thursday from 8:00am until 5:30pm, with a half day on Friday from 8:00am until noon. Responsibilities Collaborate with physical therapists, PTAs, and clinical staff to align massage therapy with overall treatment goals. Provide evidence-based techniques such as deep tissue, trigger point therapy, myofascial release, and sports massage. Adjust treatment plans based on patient condition, progress, and tolerance. Maintain accurate documentation of sessions per clinic policies and state regulations. Communicate patient concerns or changes in condition to clinical staff. Educate patients on massage benefits for recovery, posture, muscle relaxation, and stress relief. Ensure patient safety and comfort during sessions. Maintain cleanliness of treatment rooms, gym areas, and equipment per infection control standards. Assist with clerical tasks (filing, scanning, and scheduling appointments).

Qualifications Required:

Texas Licensed Massage Therapist Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology Preferred experience in orthopedics, acute care, or outpatient settings Excellent interpersonal and patient care skills Ability to work collaboratively in a healthcare team Organizational skills to maintain a clean and efficient environment Previous healthcare experience is a plus but not required Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced setting Physical Demands Frequent standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, and sitting Ability to lift/move items up to 30 lbs occasionally

Pay:

$23.00 - $30.00 per hour
