We are looking for an Massage Therapist to join our practice. We're looking for a compassionate, collaborative, forward-thinking Therapist who excels at assessing patients' strengths and weaknesses and devising creative, but effective treatment plans. We treat a wide variety of patients, from professional athletes to the retiree who wants to hike again. We operate a high-energy, positive-thinking, research driven environment that allows us to offer cutting-edge therapy approaches to help our patients achieve their goals. Positional Release Therapy Institute was established in 2008 and has been in operation in Ogden, Utah since 2011. We not only treat patients in Ogden, but also conduct manual therapy courses and research at our Ogden location, in the US and abroad. Responsibilities Interview clients to determine the required massage/bodywork method Assess client's medical history, symptoms, and other relevant information before treatment Apply proper pressure to the client to avoid injuries and bruising Work collaboratively with clinic practitioners and other health practitioners outside of the clinic to provide the client's with the best therapy Maintain records of treatments Refer clients to other therapy, if necessary Must carry professional liability insurance Must carry current training in CPR/AED and first aid Qualifications Licensed Massage Therapist (State or NCBTMB) Utah State Licensure 1-2 years experience preferred, new graduates considered
