Massage Therapist

Job Overview Our practice is growing and we are looking to add additional Massage Therapists to our team in St. George. Applicants will be required to offer "spa type" massages on request but primarily focus on rehabilitative type therapy for the patients that they treat. Responsibilities Conduct thorough patient assessments to understand individual health concerns, preferences, and treatment goals Provide a variety of massage techniques including deep tissue massage, trigger point therapy, and relaxation massage tailored to each client's needs Apply knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology to develop effective treatment plans that promote pain management and occupational health Educate clients on self-care practices and recommend appropriate therapies for ongoing wellness support Maintain detailed records of treatments administered, patient progress, and any relevant observations following professional standards Ensure a safe, clean, and welcoming environment by adhering to sanitation protocols and facility policies Collaborate with other healthcare or wellness professionals to optimize patient outcomes and enhance service quality Experience Proven experience as a Massage Therapist with a strong background in patient service and assessment Skilled in advanced massage techniques such as deep tissue massage and trigger point therapy Knowledgeable in physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology relevant to therapeutic massage practices Prior experience working in a med spa or occupational health setting is highly desirable Excellent customer service skills with the ability to connect with diverse clients and address their unique needs Familiarity with medical documentation standards and maintaining detailed treatment records Certification from an accredited massage therapy program; licensure or certification as required by local regulations
