Responsibilities Provide professional massage therapy sessions utilizing techniques such as deep tissue massage and trigger point therapy to address clients' specific needs. Conduct thorough patient assessments to understand individual health concerns, preferences, and treatment goals. Educate clients on the benefits of massage therapy, including pain management and occupational health strategies. Maintain detailed records of each session, including treatment plans, progress notes, and relevant medical terminology. Ensure a safe and comfortable environment by adhering to all health and safety standards and maintaining proper sanitation protocols. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals or medical staff when necessary to support comprehensive patient care. Stay current with industry best practices, new techniques, and continuing education requirements to enhance your skills. Requirements Valid state licensure as a Massage Therapist with active certification. Proven experience in patient service, with a focus on customer satisfaction and personalized care. Knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology related to massage therapy and pain management. Proficiency in advanced massage techniques such as deep tissue massage and trigger point therapy. Strong understanding of patient assessment methods and occupational health principles. Prior experience working in a med spa or similar healthcare setting is preferred. Excellent communication skills and a compassionate approach to client care.
