Medical Massage Therapist

Job Overview We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Massage Therapist to join our wellness team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of various massage techniques and the ability to provide exceptional customer service. This role involves working closely with clients to assess their needs and deliver tailored treatments that promote relaxation, pain relief, and overall well-being. Duties Perform various types of massage therapy, including deep tissue massage, trigger point therapy, and pain management techniques. Conduct thorough patient assessments to determine individual treatment plans based on client needs. Maintain accurate records of client sessions, including medical history and treatment progress. Provide excellent customer service by ensuring a welcoming environment and addressing client concerns. And showing up for clients consistently Stay updated on anatomy knowledge and medical terminology to ensure effective communication with clients and healthcare providers. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the treatment area, adhering to safety and hygiene standards. Skills Proficient in pain management techniques and deep tissue massage. Strong customer service skills with the ability to build rapport with clients. Knowledge of medical terminology relevant to massage therapy practices. Experience in trigger point therapy and understanding of its applications. Familiarity with med spa environments and occupational health practices is a plus. Ability to conduct thorough patient assessments for customized treatment plans. Solid understanding of anatomy knowledge to effectively address client needs.
