Join the team at Aikana Esthetics Center and become part of a growing women-owned aesthetic and wellness center dedicated to healing, confidence, and exceptional client care. We specialize in post-operative recovery, lymphatic drainage massage, body contouring support, and wellness treatments in a supportive, family-oriented environment. We are looking for a compassionate, professional, and motivated Licensed Massage Therapist who is passionate about helping clients feel their best during both recovery and wellness journeys. This role goes beyond traditional spa massage — our therapists play an important role in supporting post-surgical healing, improving client comfort, reducing swelling, and creating a safe, welcoming experience for every patient. Responsibilities Perform post-operative lymphatic drainage massage and wellness massage treatments customized to each client's needs Conduct thorough client assessments to understand medical history, recovery stage, goals, and areas of concern Support post-surgical clients through safe, compassionate, and attentive care during recovery Utilize therapeutic massage techniques to help reduce swelling, improve circulation, decrease discomfort, and promote healing Educate clients on post-care instructions, hydration, compression garments, and self-care recommendations Maintain accurate and professional treatment notes while following client privacy and sanitation standards Ensure treatment rooms and equipment remain clean, organized, and properly sanitized at all times Provide exceptional client service by creating a comfortable, professional, and welcoming environment Work collaboratively with the Aikana team to maintain a positive workplace culture and high-quality client experience Stay open to continued education and training in post-operative care and advanced massage techniques Experience & Qualifications Active Virginia Massage Therapy License required Strong understanding of anatomy, physiology, and therapeutic massage techniques Experience in lymphatic drainage, post-operative massage, medical spa, or wellness settings is highly preferred Ability to communicate professionally and compassionately with clients during sensitive stages of recovery Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills Detail-oriented, dependable, and able to maintain professionalism in a fast-paced environment Willingness to learn and grow within the post-operative and aesthetics industry Bilingual applicants are a plus Why Join Aikana?
