Job Description
Job Overview We're a chiropractic and bodywork practice on Norfolk's Colley Avenue, and we're looking for a licensed massage therapist who wants more than a table and a timer. Our model is built around integrated care — your insight as a therapist is a genuine part of how we treat patients, not an afterthought. If you're skilled in deep tissue and myofascial work, comfortable treating acute conditions, and interested in actually collaborating with a chiropractor on care plans, you'll fit right in. Perinatal experience is a plus. What we offer Base supplemental hourly pay (on top of session pay) Tips Free chiropractic care for you FICA taxes paid (you keep more of every paycheck) Flexible scheduling — morning, afternoon, weekday, and weekend shifts available A genuinely low-drama, respectful work environment What you'll do Provide therapeutic massage with a focus on deep tissue, trigger point, and myofascial techniques Collaborate with our doctor(s) on integrated treatment plans — your clinical observations matter here Communicate with staff to support patient care and continuity Maintain accurate session notes and treatment records Contribute to a welcoming, healing environment for every patient What we're looking for Active Virginia massage therapy license and professional liability insurance Strong deep tissue and myofascial skills Comfort working with acute musculoskeletal conditions Perinatal massage experience is a bonus, not a requirement Someone who values open communication and sees collaboration as part of good patient care
