Licensed Massage Therapist

Must be willing to work Saturdays, and some Fridays. Job Overview We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Massage Therapist to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of various massage techniques and be dedicated to providing exceptional patient care. This role involves assessing patient needs, delivering therapeutic massage treatments, and contributing to overall wellness in a supportive environment. Duties Conduct thorough patient assessments to determine individual needs and treatment goals. Provide a variety of massage techniques, including deep tissue massage and trigger point therapy, tailored to each patient's requirements. Utilize knowledge of physiology and anatomy to enhance treatment effectiveness and ensure patient safety. Implement pain management strategies Maintain accurate records of treatments administered and patient progress. Uphold high standards of customer service, ensuring a welcoming and professional atmosphere for all clients. Collaborate and work with the team, communicate and take on responsibilities without being told to do so Stay updated on medical terminology and advancements in massage therapy practices, particularly within the med spa environment. Requirements Valid certification or license in massage therapy from an accredited institution. Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology relevant to massage therapy practices. Experience in patient service and assessment with a focus on individualized care plans. Proficiency in deep tissue massage techniques and trigger point therapy is preferred. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to build rapport with clients effectively. Previous experience in a med spa setting is a plus but not mandatory. Commitment to ongoing professional development and adherence to industry standards.
