Licensed Massage Therapist

Job Summary New massage and wellness clinic opening up off of Holland Rd in South Suffolk. We are looking to hire 2-3 qualified and licensed massage therapists to join our growing team! Our facility will be 3000 square foot with a reception, fireplace, 5 treatment rooms including a couples room, and a breakroom to relax between clients. This position is for independent contractors with a 60/40 split. Currently we have two experienced therapists, both trained in deep tissue. We would love to add therapists who are trained in prenatal, stretching, cupping, hot stone, deep tissue as well as relaxation based techniques, lymphatic drainage. Just to name a few. We offer online booking for our clients and as an independent contractor you have full control over your schedule. Our clinic has no set business hours so each therapist can work morning, afternoon, evenings, and weekends at their own leisure. If you think you'd be a good candidate we'd love to hear from you! Responsibilities Perform professional massage therapy sessions including deep tissue massage, trigger point therapy, and other modalities tailored to individual client needs Conduct thorough patient assessments to determine appropriate treatment plans and address specific areas of discomfort or injury Educate clients on self-care techniques and recommend ongoing wellness strategies for pain management and occupational health Maintain detailed records of treatments, client progress, and treatment outcomes in compliance with health regulations Ensure a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for all clients by adhering to sanitation standards and clinic protocols Collaborate with healthcare professionals when necessary to support comprehensive patient care Stay current with industry trends, new techniques, and continuing education requirements to enhance skills and service quality Experience Valid state licensure as a Massage Therapist with active certification to practice legally Proven experience in patient service, with a focus on medical or spa settings preferred Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology relevant to massage therapy and pain management Hands-on experience with deep tissue massage, trigger point therapy, and other advanced modalities Familiarity with occupational health practices and patient assessment procedures Prior work in med spa environments or similar wellness clinics is highly desirable Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively and build trusting client relationships

Pay:

$51.00 - $105.00 per hour
