Job Description
Overview We are seeking a skilled Massage Therapist to join our team. The ideal candidate should possess a strong background in physical examinations, deep tissue massage, and anatomy knowledge. Experience in occupational health, medical terminology, and pain management is highly valued. Duties
- Perform various massage techniques including deep tissue, Swedish, and hot stone massages
- Conduct patient assessments to determine appropriate massage techniques
- Provide pain management through massage therapy
- Utilize knowledge of anatomy and physiology to address specific client needs
- Offer exceptional customer service and ensure a comfortable spa experience for clients
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals in a med spa setting Qualifications
- Certification or licensure as a Massage Therapist
- Proficiency in medical terminology related to massage therapy
- Experience in med spa environments is advantageous
- Strong understanding of patient assessment and pain management techniques
- Excellent customer service skills to interact effectively with clients
- Knowledge of physiology to tailor massages based on individual needs
