Job Summary We are seeking a passionate and skilled Licensed Massage Therapist to join our dynamic wellness team. In this role, you will deliver personalized massage treatments that promote relaxation, pain relief, and overall well-being for our diverse clientele. Your expertise in various massage techniques, combined with your commitment to exceptional patient service, will help clients achieve their health and wellness goals. Responsibilities Perform professional massage therapy sessions utilizing techniques such as deep tissue massage and trigger point therapy to address specific client needs. Conduct thorough patient assessments to understand individual health concerns, preferences, and treatment goals. Educate clients on self-care practices and recommend appropriate therapies for ongoing wellness. Maintain detailed records of each session, including treatment plans, patient responses, and progress notes. Ensure a safe, clean, and welcoming environment by adhering to all health and safety regulations. Stay current with industry best practices, new techniques, and continuing education requirements to enhance your skills. Experience Valid state licensure as a Massage Therapist with active certification. Expertise in deep tissue massage, trigger point therapy, and pain management techniques. Strong knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology relevant to therapeutic massage. Prior experience working in occupational health or medical spa environments is highly desirable. Excellent customer service skills Self sufficient in general office skills ie. processing credit cards, using Microsoft Word Commitment to ongoing professional development through continuing education courses related to massage therapy and wellness practices.
