The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of various massage techniques and be dedicated to providing exceptional patient care. This role involves assessing patient needs, developing personalized treatment plans, and utilizing various modalities to promote relaxation, pain relief, and overall well-being. We are seeking a therapist who is available to work starting at 1 p.m., with the final massage of the day scheduled at 6 p.m. We are also looking for someone who is willing to work three Saturdays per month, with Saturday shifts taking place in the morning. Specific hours can be discussed during the interview. Responsibilities Conduct thorough patient assessments to determine individual needs and treatment goals. Provide a variety of massage techniques including deep tissue massage, trigger point therapy, and pain management strategies. Maintain accurate documentation of patient treatments and progress. Educate patients on the benefits of massage therapy and provide recommendations for ongoing care. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care. Uphold high standards of cleanliness and professionalism in the treatment environment. Stay informed about advancements in massage therapy techniques and medical terminology relevant to occupational health and med spa services. Qualifications Valid state licensure or certification as a Massage Therapist. Strong knowledge of anatomy and physiology as it relates to massage therapy. Experience in customer service with excellent interpersonal skills. Ability to perform pain management assessments effectively. Familiarity with medical terminology is preferred. Previous experience in a med spa or similar environment is a plus. Commitment to ongoing professional development and continuing education in massage therapy practices.
