Duties Perform professional massage therapy sessions utilizing techniques such as deep tissue massage and trigger point therapy to alleviate pain and tension. Conduct thorough patient assessments to understand individual health concerns, preferences, and treatment goals. Apply knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology to develop safe and effective treatment plans tailored to each client. Educate clients on self-care practices, occupational health tips, and lifestyle adjustments to support ongoing wellness. Maintain detailed records of treatments provided, patient progress, and any relevant medical information in compliance with privacy standards. Ensure a welcoming and comfortable environment by delivering exceptional customer service and addressing client questions or concerns promptly. Stay current with industry best practices and participate in ongoing training to enhance your skills in areas like pain management and med spa therapies. Qualifications Valid state licensure as a Massage Therapist with active certification to practice professionally. Proven experience in patient service, patient assessment, and delivering various massage techniques such as deep tissue and trigger point therapy. Strong knowledge of human physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology relevant to massage therapy. Prior experience working in a med spa or similar healthcare setting is highly desirable. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to create a positive client experience from start to finish. Familiarity with occupational health principles and the ability to adapt treatments for diverse client needs. Commitment to maintaining professional standards, hygiene protocols, and ongoing education in massage therapy practices.
