Compensation:

$45 - $50 hourly

Responsibilities:

Ensure client needs are met safely using the therapeutic massage technique that corresponds with their needs Maintain treatment records, monitor client progress, and follow up on their treatment plans Recommend additional products or services that may benefit the client Evaluate each client's physical condition, stress level, and medical history to determine the most effective types of massage for their course of treatment Cultivate a welcoming work environment by making positive relationships with clients and staff Provide a variety of massage and spa treatments to patients/clients Arrive on time for shifts and maintain a consistent, regular attendance record Properly open and close your treatment room each day, and handle room turnovers Communicate with the Wellness Concierge/Front Desk to ensure that the check-in, check-out, and payment process is completed Complete appropriate SOAP note charting and sign all charts within 24 hours Regularly participate in marketing efforts to build and maintain client caseloads. This may include attending professional referral groups, social media contributions, newsletter, website, or blog contributions - Up to 2 hours per week of paid time Actively promote VWS treatments, services, and promotions Maintain professional demeanor, conduct, and hygiene Develop professional & personalized relationships with regular clients and community members Handle patient/client questions and concerns promptly, professionally, and courteously Maintain complete confidentiality in all patient/client matters following the company's HIPAA policy Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area Must maintain annual continued education, stay current on industry trends and services, and be willing to complete ongoing education in massage therapy Recommend additional products or services that may benefit the client Use therapeutic massage techniques to deliver a safe and exceptional customer experience that meets their needs and desired results Support a positive working environment for both clients and staff through relationship-building and team development

Qualifications:

Must have licensure that complies with state and local laws Excellent communication and interpersonal skills High school graduate or equivalent Adequate knowledge of a variety of massage techniques such as reflexology, sports massage, Swedish massage, and deep-tissue massage To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
