Licensed Massage Therapist (LMT)

Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Massage Therapist to join our wellness team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in various massage techniques and a passion for helping clients achieve their health and wellness goals. You will be responsible for providing high-quality massage therapy services, assessing patient needs, and developing personalized treatment plans to promote relaxation, pain relief, and overall well-being. Responsibilities Conduct thorough patient assessments to understand individual needs and health conditions. Provide a variety of massage techniques including deep tissue massage, trigger point therapy, and pain management strategies. Maintain a clean and welcoming treatment environment that adheres to safety and hygiene standards. Educate clients on the benefits of massage therapy and provide recommendations for ongoing care. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals in a med spa setting to ensure comprehensive patient care. Document treatment plans, progress notes, and any relevant medical terminology related to patient care. Deliver exceptional customer service to enhance client satisfaction and retention. Qualifications Valid state licensure or certification in massage therapy. Strong knowledge of anatomy, occupational health, and patient service principles. Experience in trigger point therapy, deep tissue massage, and pain management preferred. Excellent communication skills with the ability to build rapport with clients.
