Job Description
Duties:
- Perform deep tissue massages and other therapeutic massages based on client needs
- Assess clients' medical history and any specific concerns or conditions before each session
- Create a comfortable and relaxing environment for clients during their massage sessions
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of client information, including treatment plans and progress notes
- Provide excellent customer service and ensure client satisfaction throughout the massage session
- Collaborate with other staff to create comprehensive treatment plans for clients
- Learn how to check in and out your clients if your receptionist is busy with other duties.
Experience:
- Must have a valid massage therapy license in the state of West Virginia
- Proficient in deep tissue massage techniques and other therapeutic modalities
- Strong knowledge of human anatomy and physiology
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with clients and healthcare professionals
- Ability to adapt to new massage techniques based on individual client needs and preferences
