Job Description
Lee Obstetrics and Gynecology is committed to our mission of providing quality, attentive, responsive care for the women of Lee County and the surrounding area. To put the patient's health and well-being first and promote women's health in all that we do. As our Part Time Medical Assistant, you will be preparing for each patient visit by preparing charts and pulling notes before their arrival, providing routine support alongside nurses and medical staff, and assisting with keeping track of tests and lab reporting to ensure everything arrives on time and the patient is kept informed on their condition and care. You will also be helping manage the inventory of medical supplies, setting up machines and testing equipment, and cleaning instruments and rooms as needed. The ideal candidate has strong customer service skills, an interest in learning more about a working medical environment, and has previous office experience. Hours are Monday - Thursday 7:45am - 12:00pm Responsibilities Prepare for the patient visit including setting up medical equipment Clean instruments and equipment after use Answer phones and field questions about medical issues, identifying visit needs Assist nurses and doctors with basic medical care and procedures Handle basic medical office duties Qualifications Certified Medical Assistant desired; willingness to obtain certification in first 18 months Excellent customer service skills Strong attention to detail "We're an equal opportunity employer.
