This role focuses on preventive health screenings, patient engagement, health education, and clinical support services within community-based and employer-sponsored wellness initiatives. The ideal candidate is professional, dependable, patient-focused, and comfortable working in mobile and community outreach environments. Candidates should have strong interpersonal skills and the ability to independently support basic clinical workflows while escalating patient concerns appropriately. Position Type PRN / Contract / Part-Time Opportunities Available Mobile Clinic & Community-Based Care Travel within assigned Alabama regions may be required

4:00 PM - 9:00
PM Saturdays:
9:00 AM - 5:00 PM Minimum Qualifications Active Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) Minimum of three (3) years of clinical experience Current BLS/CPR certification preferred Experience with: Blood pressure screening and monitoring A1C point-of-care testing Patient education and wellness coaching Clinical escalation procedures Preventive care initiatives Comfortable working in mobile health clinic settings Strong communication and documentation skills Ability to maintain HIPAA compliance and patient confidentiality Essential Duties & Responsibilities Clinical Screening & Patient Support Obtain and document patient vital signs including: Blood Pressure Weight Height (if applicable) Conduct PHQ-2 depression screenings Perform point-of-care A1C testing using fingerstick collection methods Accurately complete clinical screening forms and required documentation Maintain clean and organized clinical screening stations Patient Education & Wellness Engagement Provide standardized patient education materials supplied by TrueCare24 Educate patients regarding: Blood pressure management Diabetes prevention and A1C awareness Smoking cessation resources and education Preventive wellness recommendations Encourage patient participation in wellness initiatives and follow-up care Clinical Escalation & Safety Identify abnormal clinical findings requiring escalation Follow established clinical escalation protocols for high-risk patients Communicate urgent findings to supervising clinical leadership when necessary Ensure patient safety and infection control standards are maintained at all times Mobile Clinic Operations Assist with mobile clinic setup and breakdown Support patient flow and registration processes Maintain professionalism during community outreach events and employer-sponsored wellness clinics Travel to assigned clinic locations as needed Preferred Qualifications Previous experience in: Mobile clinics Community health events Occupational health screenings Preventive health programs Bilingual candidates encouraged to apply Experience with electronic documentation systems preferred Physical Requirements Ability to stand for extended periods Ability to lift and carry clinical supplies and equipment up to 25 pounds Ability to travel between clinic locations as needed Compliance Requirements All candidates must successfully complete: Background screening Drug screening (if applicable) HIPAA and compliance training Verification of certifications and credentials
