Job Description
After Ours OBGYN is a women's health and aesthetic clinic dedicated to providing compassionate, convenient, high-quality care. We treat common gynecologic conditions such as PCOS, endometriosis, abnormal bleeding, ovarian cysts, and infertility, while also offering advanced services including Botox, fillers, SkinPen microneedling with PRP, CO₂ laser resurfacing, vaginal rejuvenation, PRP injections, hair restoration, weight-loss therapy, and more. We maintain a professional, supportive, and drama-free environment where patient experience comes first and teamwork is essential. Job Summary The Medical Assistant plays a key role in delivering excellent patient care by supporting both the clinical and aesthetic sides of the practice. This team member is responsible for rooming patients, preparing exam rooms, assisting providers with procedures, ensuring accurate documentation, and helping maintain smooth daily operations. The ideal candidate is dependable, detail-oriented, patient-focused, and comfortable in a fast-paced environment. Professionalism, discretion, and respect for HIPAA are expected at all times. Key ResponsibilitiesClinical Duties Room patients, obtain vitals, and document medical histories in the EMR. Prepare exam rooms for gynecologic visits and aesthetic procedures. Assist providers with exams. Administer injections (B12, Lipoject, hormone injections, etc.).. Support aesthetic services such as Botox prep, PRP processing, microneedling setup, and sterile technique. Administrative Duties Assist with scheduling, patient phone calls, portal messages, and refills. Maintain accurate, timely documentation in the EMR. Support daily clinical flow to ensure efficient, on-time appointments. Handle inventory management, restocking, and ordering supplies. Compliance & Professionalism Adhere strictly to HIPAA standards regarding patient privacy. Maintain a respectful, drama-free, team-based atmosphere. Follow all clinic policies, infection control procedures, and safety protocols. Uphold After Ours' standard of compassionate, judgment-free patient care. Qualifications Certified or Registered Medical Assistant preferred, or relevant clinical experience. OB/GYN or women's health experience is a plus but not required. Comfort assisting with both medical and aesthetic procedures. Strong communication skills and professional demeanor. Ability to multitask and adapt in a fast-paced environment. Must be dependable, punctual, and willing to float between locations as needed.
