Full-Time Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and motivated Medical Assistant to support our growing Baldwin County Clinics. The ideal candidate will play a key role in providing high-quality patient care by assisting providers in daily clinical operations and ensuring an efficient, welcoming environment for patients.
Responsibilities:
Escort patients from the waiting area to exam rooms in a courteous and professional manner Obtain and document patient histories, vital signs, and other clinical information accurately in electronic medical records Prepare exam rooms for patient visits and assist physicians and clinical staff during examinations and procedures Perform basic clinical tasks as directed by providers Maintain cleanliness and organization of exam rooms and clinical areas Stock exam rooms and monitor medical supplies to ensure availability Follow all clinic policies, safety guidelines, and patient confidentiality standards Provide excellent customer service to patients and families
Qualifications:
Prior medical office or clinic experience required Medical Assistant certification preferred , but not required for the right candidate Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced clinical environment Basic computer skills and experience with electronic health records (EHR) preferred Dependable, organized, and team-oriented Pre- Employment drug screening is required.
