Floating Medical Assistant/ Intake Specialist

```Duties```

• Room patients, obtain and record detailed health histories, and ensured accurate documentation within patient medical records.
• Manage voicemails and promptly return patient calls.
• Perform a variety of clinical and administrative tasks to assist healthcare professionals in providing quality patient care.
• Prepare patients for examinations, take vital signs, and record medical history.
• Administer medications and injections as directed by healthcare providers.
• Assist with minor surgical procedures and provide wound care.
• Perform basic laboratory tests and collect specimens for testing.
• Conduct patient education on various health topics and provide instructions for at-home care.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records. ```Qualifications```
• Experience working in a hospital or medical clinic setting is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology.
• Proficiency in medical administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments, managing patient records, and verifying insurance information.
• Ability to provide excellent patient care with compassion and empathy.
• Familiarity with X-ray procedures is a plus.
