Job Description

Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Certified Medical Assistant to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing exceptional patient care in a fast-paced clinical environment. This position requires a strong commitment to patient service and the ability to work effectively within various medical specialties, including dermatology, medical-surgical, and more. Responsibilities Assist healthcare providers with patient examinations and procedures. Perform routine clinical tasks such as taking vital signs, preparing patients for examinations, and documenting medical histories. Manage patient flow and ensure a smooth operation of clinic activities. Provide excellent patient service by addressing inquiries and concerns promptly. Maintain accurate patient records in the electronic health record (EHR) system. Administer medications and injections as directed by physicians. Conduct basic life support (BLS) procedures when necessary. Ensure proper handling of equipment. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to enhance patient care quality. Qualifications Certified medical assistant with relevant credentials preferred. Experience in various medical settings such as urgent care, dermatology, or hospital medicine is preferred. Strong understanding of patient care protocols and clinic operations. Proficiency in using electronic health record systems for documentation. Excellent communication skills with a focus on patient service. Attendance and timeliness are extremely important. Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
