In this vital role, you will provide exceptional patient care and support clinical operations across various specialties. Your expertise will help ensure smooth patient intake, accurate documentation, and efficient clinical workflows. Responsibilities Assist with patient intake by collecting medical histories, verifying insurance information, and updating electronic health records (EHR systems) Measure vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and respiration rates with precision and professionalism Prepare patients for examinations or procedures by explaining processes clearly and ensuring comfort Support clinical staff with procedures including medication administration. Document patient interactions accurately using medical terminology and ICD coding for billing and record-keeping purposes Maintain a clean, organized clinical environment while adhering to infection control protocols in outpatient or inpatient settings Requirements Valid certification as a Medical Assistant from an accredited program; certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) is required Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, medical terminology, ICD coding, and pharmacology for medication administration Familiarity with EHR systems and medical administrative support tasks such as scheduling and documentation Ability to perform clinical duties including taking vital signs, assisting with procedures, and supporting inpatient or outpatient care teams Strong communication skills with a focus on patient service and compassionate care.
