Job Description

The Medical Assistant provides clinical and administrative support to the Employee Health Department, assisting with the delivery of occupational and employee health services. The Medical Assistant works collaboratively with Employee Health staff to promote employee wellness, maintain health records, coordinate screenings and immunizations, and ensure efficient department operations. This position requires excellent customer service skills, attention to detail, and the ability to maintain confidentiality.
Employment Details:
Part-Time, 32 hours per week.
Schedule:
Monday - Thursday, 8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.
Pre-Employment Requirements:
We are a drug free facility. Passing a pre-employment drug screening is required .
Education/Certification Requirements:
Validation of a high school diploma or equivalent required . Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program required . Current Medical Assistant certification required .
Qualifications:
Previous experience as a Medical Assistant preferred. Knowledge of medical office procedures and clinical practices. Strong organizational and time management skills. Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information appropriately. Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills. Proficiency with electronic medical records and standard office software. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong verbal and written communication skills.
