  • Full-time We are actively recruiting Medical Assistants for all locations.
Preferred Medical Group is a Multi-Specialty Clinic with locations in Phenix City, Fort Mitchell, Opelika, and Auburn, Alabama seeking an experienced Medical Assistant. Candidates should have experience working with patients of all ages. Job is mainly Monday-Thursday 8-5, Friday 8-4 with rotating Thursday hours from 5pm-7pm and Saturday hours from 9am-1pm. Responsibilities Prompt, friendly and professional patient and coworker communication Rooming patients while taking histories, vitals, prescription lists, and chief complaints Administering vaccinations Preparing providers for clinic and assisting them Communicating by phone with patients and medical offices Data entry and scanning Scheduling appointments Check patients in and out Other duties and responsibilities as assigned
Qualifications:
Minimum 1 year experience EHR experience required, eClinicalWorks preferred Certified Medical Assistant Excellent customer service and communication skills Detail oriented and extremely organized Team player Ability to handle high levels of stress satisfactorily at all times Complete job duties within the required time frames Ability to manage time, multi-task, and handle high stress environments with ever changing demands
