Southern Health Partners is seeking a Full-Time Clinical Medical Assistant to join our night shift team at the Madison County Detention Center in Alabama. Job Description As a Clinical Medical Assistant, you'll support nursing staff and providers in delivering patient care within a secure correctional healthcare environment. Your role will help keep operations running smoothly while ensuring patients receive professional and compassionate care.Responsibilities may include:
Assisting with intake screenings and patient assessments Obtaining vital signs and medical histories Preparing patients for examinations and treatments Supporting medication pass and treatment procedures Maintaining accurate medical documentation Scheduling and coordinating healthcare services Assisting with inventory and medical supplies Responding professionally in urgent situations alongside the medical team This role offers a unique blend of clinical experience, patient interaction, and teamwork in a setting where no two shifts feel exactly alike.
