Job Description

Overview Join our dynamic healthcare team as a Medical Assistant, where your expertise will play a vital role in delivering exceptional patient care across diverse medical settings. Duties Assist with patient intake by collecting comprehensive medical histories and documenting chief complaints accurately. Measure vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and respiration to monitor patient health status. Prepare patients for examinations and procedures, ensuring comfort and safety throughout their visit. Support clinical procedures including medication administration, wound care, X-ray, and basic life support when necessary. Manage electronic health record (EHR) systems efficiently by updating patient charts with accurate information like ICD coding and physiology notes. Perform basic laboratory tasks such as specimen collection and processing for diagnostic testing. Provide exceptional patient service by answering questions, explaining procedures, and ensuring a welcoming environment in outpatient or inpatient settings. Qualifications Proven experience as a Medical Assistant in clinical settings such as dermatology clinics, urgent care centers, hospitals, or outpatient clinics. Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, medical terminology, ICD coding, and medication administration protocols. Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) is required; additional certifications related to emergency medicine or advanced life support are a plus. Proficiency with Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems for documentation and data management. Ability to perform clinical tasks such as vital signs measurement, intake procedures, X-ray, and basic laboratory work accurately. Excellent patient service skills with a compassionate approach to diverse populations across outpatient and inpatient settings. Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask efficiently while maintaining attention to detail in fast-paced healthcare environments.
