This role requires strong clinical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced medical environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Patient Interaction:
Greet and reassure patients, addressing any questions or concerns they may have about the procedure. Assist patients in positioning for the procedure, providing comfort and support throughout the process. Monitor patients' vital signs and well-being before, during, and after the procedure. Collet Urine Drug Screens Schedule patient appointments and manage medical records
Documentation and Record Keeping:
Accurately document patient information, procedural details, medications administered, and any patient reactions during the procedure. Update patient electronic health records (EHR) with relevant data, ensuring completeness and accuracy.
Supply Management:
Monitor and restock procedure rooms with necessary supplies, ensuring a sufficient inventory at all times. Assist in maintaining proper equipment functionality by reporting any malfunctions or issues promptly.
Collaboration and Communication:
Maintain effective communication with the medical team, including physicians, nurses, and administrative staff, to ensure seamless patient care. Communicate with patients and their families in a compassionate and informative manner.
Quality Assurance and Compliance:
Adhere to all safety and infection control protocols, maintaining a high standard of patient safety. Participate in regular training and education sessions to stay updated on the latest pain management techniques and protocols.
Qualifications and Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent; completion of a certified medical assisting program preferred. Current certification as a Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) preferred. Must be willing to travel on occasion to satellite clinics: White Hall, Conway, Jacksonville, Searcy and Benton Strong understanding of medical terminology and pain management procedures. Excellent interpersonal skills with a compassionate and patient-centric approach. Ability to multitask, remain calm under pressure, and maintain attention to detail. Proficiency in using electronic health record (EHR) systems. Basic life support (BLS) certification may be required. Strong commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality and privacy.
