Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Medical Assistant to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting our medical staff and ensuring that patients receive the highest quality of care. This position requires a strong understanding of medical terminology, anatomy, and various healthcare settings, including urgent care and hospital environments. The Medical Assistant will be responsible for both administrative and clinical tasks, contributing to the efficient operation of our practice. Responsibilities Assist healthcare professionals with patient examinations and procedures in various settings such as dermatology, urgent care, and inpatient environments. Perform clinical duties including taking patient histories, measuring vital signs, and preparing patients for examinations. Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in compliance with medical standards. Provide medical administrative support by scheduling appointments, managing patient flow, and handling insurance verifications. Ensure cleanliness and organization of examination rooms and medical equipment. Collaborate with team members to deliver high-quality patient care. Educate patients on treatment plans, medications, and follow-up care as directed by healthcare providers. Qualifications Previous experience as a Medical Assistant or in a similar healthcare role is preferred. Strong knowledge of medical terminology and anatomy is essential. Familiarity with clinic medicine practices Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with patients and staff. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Certification as a Medical Assistant (CMA) or equivalent is preferred but not required.
